Makeover Monday

How to look like a Real Housewife!

This week our makeover model is my beautiful cousin Paulette.  She rarely wears makeup and when she does it is minimal.  Let face it when you are cute, you don't really have to try too hard.  So I was thrilled she agreed to get a Real Housewife face beat makeover!!

Skin prep:  I used Embryolisse Hydrating Serum and Lait Creme Concentrate to hydrate and moisturise her skin.  I mixed in some Becca Shimmering Skin Perfector in Topaz into the moisturiser to give her skin a glow.

Eyes:  I used all MAC cosmetics for this look, starting with Cranberry eyeshadow on the lid and Sketch in the socket, followed by Beauty Marked in the outer corners of the eye and blended into the socket to give that soft smokey eye!  I lined the eyes, including the waterline with Smolder pencil and followed with lashings of mascara.    To give the eyes a little more drama and definition I used Ardell Lashes in 120.

I brushed Embark eyeshadow into the eyebrows to give them a little more fullness and definition.

Face:  I used MAC Studio Sculpt foundation NW50 and buffed it into the skin.  I used Pure Orange corrector around the eyes and mouth to correct the darkness and followed with a Studio Finish Concealer in NC45 around the eyes, bridge of the nose and chin.  After buffing the concealer in, I set the skin with Mineralize Skin Finish powder in Deep Dark.

Blush:  I used MAC Dolly Mix on the cheeks mixed with a little Love Thing, which gives the cheeks a little more glow.

Lips:  Creme de la Feme lipstick followed by a clear gloss.
