Makeover Monday
This weeks Makeover Monday model Latesha, is actually a model, whom I personally think looks like Super Model Jourdan Dunn.
This look is great to get you in the mood for Spring, which feels a million miles away right now, but is fast approaching. I have to admit, I did this shoot a while ago, but now I know this is defintely going to be a hot trend colour for this season!!

Latesha before
Skin Prep: I used a little Bioderma Hydrating Hydrabio serum to prep the skin. As her skin was quite oily and it was a hot day when doing this makeover, I didn't use a moisturiser. I followed with Laura Mercier Foundation Primer, and allowed all the products to fully absorb into the skin.
Eyes: I prepped the lids with Urban Decay Eye Primer Potion and then applied a light wash of MAC Texture into the socket. I then followed with another light wash of Steamy eyeshadow by MAC on the lids. With this look the intention was to focus mainly on the eyeliner and not to have the eyeshadow as prominent feature.
I lined the eyes with Kiko's Senseual Eyes Waterproof pencil in 03, this is a gorgeous rich blue that looks like a mix between teal and aqua blue. I made the liner into a winged eye. I followed with as much blue mascara as possible. I used a collection 2000 one, but found it wasn't very pigmented at the time, but there are higher end brands that do bright mascara colours. I recently discovered YSL does a nice one called Extreme Blue in the False Lash effect Mascara.
Foundation: I used Tom Ford Traceless Foundation stick in Warm Almond and buffed this all over the face. It gave Latesha a beautiful flawless finish. I then highlighted under her eyes with Mac Studio Finish concealer in NC42 and contoured the face with NW55. After buffing everything through, I set the skin with MAC loose Prep & Prime Translucent Powder.
Blush: I mixed NARS Taos blush with MAC Format blush on the cheeks and into Latesha's contour.

This lip really gave the look a soft pretty and natural look.
Lip: MAC Creme De La Feme lipstick
To really amp this look up and give it a more electrafying colour pop, I decided to change the lip colour. This is a perfect example of how you can take your colour look from day to night!

Lip: To make this a little more bold, I used Current Lip Liner by MAC and blended it into the centre of the lip. I then added Laura Mercier Creme Smooth Lip Colour in Red Amour.
