My New Gem
In the last year or so I have gotten in to the moon and crystals. Now, I’m no expert on either of these but there are some bits in each that resonate with me and that I believe guide me and have helped me out in difficult times. A friend of mine once said '“maybe it’s a placebo”, maybe they are, but it’s one thatI believe in, that pleases me greatly and brings no harm to myself or anyone else.
My crystal collection is growing fast. Most of my crystals are small enough to carry around with me in my bag, pocket or as a pendant. Each crystal has different meanings although when I look at the meanings of each in my collection they all have similar attributes; they help to increase spiritual awareness, they are calming, they are for positivity, protection and abundance. I guess after reading that you can see what I want in my life.
This weekend I popped up to Bristol to see a friend who is over in Europe visiting friends and family. Although I had been in Bristol for work I had never actually seen the place so I used this as an opportunity to spend some time with my pal and her hubby and to see what all the Bristol fuss was about.
Well, the weather was pants! It rained non stop and was super grey and cold so when we decided to walk in to a mall for shelter I was very veryr happy. What I didn’t expect to find in this little mall was a crystal shop. There were so many beautiful crystals, I was in awe of the place most of all what I couldn’t believe though was the price of them. We have several New Age or Spiritual shops in London and I have to say the price of crystals are pretty expensive and as much as I had always wanted a sizeable crystal I couldn’t really afford. So imagine my surprise when I saw an Amethyst geode that filled the palm of my hand for only £25!
I asked the gentleman that owns the store about the properties of the Rainbow Hematite crystal and the beauty of his response was that he had no idea! This gentleman was simply fascinated with rocks, stones and crystals that the earth magically makes, which is probably why the price of the crystals were so low. I could never get an amethyst geode of that size for that price from a store in London
I have an amethyst pendant that I wear around my neck as well as a small tumbler that I sleep with under my pillow. Let me give you an insight in to the properties of the beautiful Amethyst crystal:
Amethyst is a meditative and calming stone which works in the emotional, spiritual and physical planes to promote calm, balance and peace.

Improves intellectual and cerebral thoughts.

With regards to work, amethyst can help facilitate intuition for making tough decisions and communication. It can also help relieve stress
Use in the family home to help assist with family bonding and help provide confidence and calmness needed for open communication.
