Makeover Monday
Steamy Turquoise Eyes
Hey Guys, it is my favourite part of the week where I get to transform another face for you. This week's Makeover Monday model is my crazy and sweet Aunty Annie!!!! She hates it when I call her that because she is younger than me, ha ha ha!!!
Annie wanted to have green turquoise eyes, but has never been able to pull of the colour successfully and found that she always looked tired when she did it so, I showed her how to do it looking glam!

Annie before
Skin Prep: Annie has normal skin, so I used the Simple day cream with spf 15. I applied this to the face and neck and followed Laura Mercier radiance primer.
Eyes: I prepped the eyes with Trish McEvoy’s Linen eye base all over the lids, making sure that the product is well blended into the skin. I then used Mac Steamy eye shadow on the ball of the eye and buffed it into the socket. I followed with Sketch eye shadow in the socket and really blended it out so that it gave a soft smokey look. I used the Contrast, which is a deep dark rich blue eye shadow on the outer corners of the eyes. I blended this also into the socket as well as underneath the eyes.
To line the eyes I used Nars Black Liquid liner to get a really sharp feline flick. This look requires lots of drama and Annie, has amazing long lashes, so I used Dior’s Iconic Mascara and layered it up to build a false lash finish on the top and bottom lashes.
To define the eyebrows, I used a mixture of Embark and Brun eyeshadow. As Annie has a scar in her brow, I should have used something to cover it up, but at the time didn’t have anything in my kit. I would suggest that you use a brow gel liner like DipDown from Mac or a suitable colour from Anastasia Beverly Hills.
Foundation: I wanted Annie’s skin to look absolutely flawless and even, so I used the Studio Sculpt foundation in NC45 as it provides a medium to full coverage and give a nice natural but made-up finish. I concealed under the eyes and around the mouth with Trish McEvoy’s Correct & Brighten No.3.
I set the entire face with Bobbi Brown Golden Orange powder.
Annie All Scrubbed Up
Blush: To contour the face, I used Format blush, which is a really nice bronze pink colour and then I added a Mineralise blush called Gentle on the apples of the cheeks.
Lips: To finish this sexy look, I used Hourglass Nude lipstick No.6 & Verse gloss.
