Makeover Monday
Lorraine - Recreating Rihanna's CFDA look
This week our makeover model is none other than the charismatic, vivacious, DJ, Blogger and Stylist Lorraine Russell, aka @MissLaLaReport.
I had the pleasure of meeting Lorraine on a shoot we were working on. She was guest blogging behind the scenes and we hit it off. Smart, witty and gorgeous, I had to do her make-up for All Scrubbed Up. At the time of doing this makeover, Rihanna had shocked everyone at the CDF Awards in New York with her next to nothing Swarovski crystal dress and rocked a beautiful smokey eye and nude lip that totally made the entire look. Lorraine has gorgeous flawless skin, she was perfect to recreate the super sexy and sultry look.

Lorraine before makeover
Lorraine has beautiful clear and smooth skin, the type of skin that doesn't need much foundation in all honesty. My main focus was concentrating on recreating these sultry eyes.
Skin prep: To hydrate the skin I used Embryolisse Crème Riche Hydrant followed by the Laura Mercier Radiance Primer.
Eyes: Rihanna has amazing green eyes and they are intensified with this smokey eye look. For Lorraine's eyes, I used a mix of green and grey. Starting with a dark smokey base, I used Autograph Black Ultimate Wear Gel Liner, buffed across the lid followed by Poison Loose Colour Concentrate by Obsessive Compulsive Cosmetics. To get a slightly more metallic look, I used Knight Divine by MAC. I contoured the eyes with Fig and Texture by MAC. To highlight, use MAC Vanilla pigment pot.
I lined the eyes again with the Black Ultimate Wear Gel Liner by Autograph and added lashings of Calorie 2000 mascara by Max Factor to the top and bottom lashes. To give even more drama to this look, I added some Ardell lashes on Lorraine’s eyes.
Lorraine All Scrubbed Up!
Face: To finish the face, I used Tom Ford Traceless foundation in Warm Almond and set with a MAC Mineralize powder in dark. To really give Lorraine’s skin a glow, I used the Hourglass bronzer as a highlighter, and added MAC Gentle blush on the cheeks.
Lips: Plum lip liner with Frou lipstick again by MAC.
