Makeover Monday - Doreen

This weeks makeover model is Doreen who came all the way from New York to visit her Aunty.  Whilst here she wanted to get some advice on make-up and try something different as she is a novice and finds it difficult to find something that suits her beautiful skin.

Skin Prep:  As Doreen has quite oily skin, I primed her skin with the Hourglass Mineral Veil Primer, concentrating on the centre of the face as that's her most problamatic zone.

Eyes:  I primed the eyes with Urban Decay Eye Primer Potion, this is great for keeping your eyeshadow from creasing and lasting all day long.  I buffed Embark eyeshadow into her socket, this gives more depth and opens the eye up a little more.  I then added Satin Taupe Eyeshadow on the lid and then created a feline flick with the Autograph Black Gel Liner.   To do this its best to do it with an angled eye liner brush.  I then added lashings of Film Noir Mascara to her lashes.

Foundation:  I used MAC Studio Fix Fluid Foundation in NW55 over the face, for a fuller coverage, I applied two layers.  I then concealed with Studio Finish Concealer in NW45 under the eyes and set with Bobbi Brown Golden Orange Powder.  I then set the rest of the face with Bobbi Brown's Basic Brown powder and then warmed the skin a little more with MAC Mineralize Dark Deep Powder

Cheeks:  I used MAC Raizin Blusher to contour the cheeks and then added a pop of colour onto the cheeks with MAC Dolly Mix Blusher

Lips:  For the lips, I lined Doreen's lips with MAC Magenta lip liner and then added Obsessive Compulsive Cosmetics Lip Tar to the lips in Hoochie that added extra umph to the lips.

A big Thank You to Doreen for being my model.  Don't Forget to Like, Comment and Subscribe and Share this blog post.  xx
